Meet the Owner
I have over 30 years of experience in the construction industry - 15 of those years spent as an interior finish carpenter, cabinet maker and furniture designer. I joined the carpenters union in San Francisco, at age 18, where I worked on high rise buildings, Victorian homes and large infrastructure projects. Preferring the artistic challenges of interior trim and design, I moved to Colorado and in 1995 established Renstrom Custom Interior Woodworking, LLC (RCIW). I have worked for some of Colorado’s premier developers, including American West Homes, Amesbury Homes, Town & Country Homes, and Jagger Homes, ranging in scale from 4,000 to 20,000 square feet, including a 52,000 square foot lodge. In 2005, RCIW won a historical renovation contract, restoring 100-year old officer’s quarters on the F.E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This project was given the blue ribbon award, which is the highest contractor rating given by the federal government.
